The Sony PXW-X70 Professional XDCAM Compact Camcorder is about the same size as a conventional 1/3" professional compact camcorder, but it features a 1" sensor, which provides for more cinematic-appearing depth of field than possible with a 1/3" sensor.
The PXW-X70 is a compact, lightweight XDCAM camcorder with professional features including a high-sensitivity1.0-type CMOS image sensor.
The wide-angle 29-mm ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* lens ensures stunningquality to the very corners of the image and features 12x Optical Zoom, which can be increased to 14x via ClearImage Zoom in HD recording mode while retaining full resolution. Moreover, seven shutter blades contribute to impressive background bokeh.
